Cat Flying in Air – Kumshaka

Ok, so how did this guy get this name.

Sometimes I get these visual impressions as I read these records, sort of like when you’re reading a good book.

I used to have a friend who loved his cats, but he didn’t like it when they slept between he and his wife because they would pull the covers off of both of them.  Now the cats were perfectly happy down in their nice toasty quilt-lined valley between the humans….but the humans weren’t so happy.

So he would on occasion “eject” the cat by rolling over suddenly which pulled the quilt tight, and acted somewhat like a trampoline for the cat.  The net effect of this was indeed “Cat Flying in Air.”   In my house, the net effect would have been “tears the quilt,” but I digress.

Now of course, there are about 100 things wrong with this scenario.  Native people probably didn’t have covers quite like that, nor did they have domestic cats….so….nah…..can’t be that….but it surely was amusing to think about.

So, how did this man get his name????
